Company history The MODUS Company has been found 14 years ago "on green field" despite that it is ranked among the most important manufacturers of lighting fittings and components in Czech Republic and among important exporters in this industry.
- 1994 – Company foundation by agreement of owners of several smaller companies on common program
- 1995 – 1996 - Leaving of the sub-deliveries idea and first consideration about self-manufacturing
- 1996 – 1997 - First larger investment to own technology (Punching machine LDR25-C)
- 1998 – Purchase of buildings in Česká Lípa for building of manufacturing plant
- 1999 – Establishing of Sheltered employment for our fellow citizens with handicaped working ability
- 1999 – Implementation of Quality management system ISO 9001:2000. Certification at German company Dekra Certification GmbH.
- 2000 – Purchase of buildings for business premises in Třebíč
- 2004 – Building of new commercial and sales center in Jinočany near Prague
- 2007 – Purchase and moving of manufacturing plant to new manufacturing premises in Česká Lípa industry area
- 2007 – Realization of so far the largest investment targets in modern manufacturing technology
